1. Wordpress Fuse (WPFuse.com)

    June 30, 2009

After weeks of contemplating, I’ve came up with a decision that might be a little off or a bit relevant (you decide) to my previous choices of what to make of WPFuse.com and finally put an end to what may seem as a Dejavu.

I chose to do both. Make a kick ass wordpress theme framework and produce cool child themes to satisfy my hunger for designing. I’m pretty excited on releasing the Framework for download. For now it’s 90% Finished. I just need to work on some formatting on the blank theme.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to release the Framework by Mid-July.

  2. Dejavu

    June 9, 2009

I’ve been here before. Around 6 months ago, I was thinking of what to make of this blog. And it took me a lot of time to decide. And here I go again.

I’m thinking about WPFuse.com. Obviously, stated on my last post, that I’m going to put Custom Wordpress themes there. But I’m thinking again because I’m dwelling on the possibility of developing a strong Wordpress Framework that can be easily customized without breaking anything ( Plus a Valid Markup ).

I guess I’ll be giving myself around a week or two to decide.

  4. Change the feel of your wordpress Admin Dashboard

When the 2.7 Version of wordpress was released, we we’re astonished and electrified by how the Dashboard/ Admin Panel Layout and functionality has changed. Shabby and worth a holler, as I say.

But after a couple of months, playing with it is no longer a trek. In fact, when I opened my blogger.com account, I actually enjoyed posting with the Blogger Dashboard/ Admin Panel. That would fairly describe how bored I am with the new Wordpress Admin Panel.

  5. Show Ads to Search Engine Referred Visitors Only.

    February 20, 2009

increasectr1I have read an article about visitors who click and dont click on ads at Yahoo! Shine. And the article states that It’s a proven fact that visitors who click on ads are most of the time the visitors who come from search engines.

I’ve also read that Google AdSense uses “Smart Pricing”. That means that the click-through rate (CTR) is low and your earnings per click is divided by from 2 to 10, depending on your stats. For Instance, a click would normally give you $0.50, with smart pricing your earning on that specific click could give you a very low $0.05 at the lowest. Harsh, Right? Dont worry, You’ve come to the right place. I’ve found a perfect solution for this problem at Smashing Magazine . What is it? Show the Ads ONLY to Search Engine referred visitors ONLY. This way, you can increase your CTR. [ Read More → ]

    modern

    Slow webhost? rising bandwidth?

If you’re looking for a free minimalist, light and simple theme. Congratulations! You’ve come to the right spot. I introduce you to Modern

    .

This theme might be outdated, old and rusty. But It sure has a lot of positive feedbacks to-date, even if it was released more than 3 years ago. With some tweaks and  CSS Modification, I say its the best theme to work with if your looking for a minimalist theme.

At first look, you’d be impressed by its stunning look and vibrancy. The typography is good and it looks very clean. Not only that, this theme initially uses 2 Images. One for the Blog Description and one for the Quotes. Saving you a lot of bandwidth if you are being bombarded by heavy traffic.
