My New Notebook : CLEVO M540SR

This post is a little late since I’ve been very busy configuring my New Laptop. Anyway, it’s a Clevo (Sub-branded by NEO Philippines) M540SR Notebook. It’s 2.0Ghz Celeron Processor, 2.5GB RAM and 80GB Hard Disk make me a happy web master. Although not a L33t overkill notebook, its enough to run my Adobe CS4 (Thanks marcklaser) CS3 Master Collection and some other web programs.

These are the Specs when I got the notebook:

- 2.0Ghz Intel Celeron M Processor
- 512MB DDR2 RAM (I’ve already upgraded it to 2.5GB DDR2 RAM)
- 80GB Hard Disk
- Windows Vista Home Basic
- 14.1″ TFT LCD
- Clear & Shine Glare-type display
- Glare-type technology (The new anti-reflective technology produces sharper contrasting tones, colors that are more brilliant and images that are much crisper.)

I’ve done a few tweaks and some display configuration which made my Vista desktop look like this.

I’ve always loved how a MAC looks but I want to get the Functionality of Windows Vista. So what did I do to achieve this? Just tune in! I’m going to post about that later. Ciao!

Oi jaja! Glad you’ve the time to pass by. Anyway, I’ve never tried C.F. on Vista. Aero itself is already sleek enough for me.

Give it a try and tell me what happens!
      :D

Oh crap! I’ve re-read my post. Thats supposed to be. CS3 not CS4. I’m still planning to purchase the CS4 Master Collection (if my pocket permits. hahaha)
